SAN DIEGO — Smashtech has leased 22,000 square feet of office space at Symphony Towers in downtown San Diego. The marketing company will occupy the penthouse suite on the 33rd floor. Smashtech will relocate from the Union Bank Building in June 2018. Irvine Co. owns the property.

PLAINSBORO, N.J. — Carmel Partners has purchased Hunters Glen, an apartment complex located at 1109 Hunters Glen Drive in Plainsboro, for an undisclosed price. Built in 1978 and situated on 53 acres, the community consists of 61 two-story buildings offering a total of 896 apartment units. Carmel plans to reposition the property by updating interiors, renovating the exterior and improving amenities, which include three resort-style pools, outdoor grills and access to adjacent public ball fields and courts, playgrounds, walking trails and a golf course. Jose Cruz, Kevin O’Hearn, Michael Oliver and Stephen Simonelli of HFF represented the undisclosed seller in the deal. This is Carmel’s first investment in New Jersey and a continuation of its East Coast expansion.
NASHUA, N.H. — Horvath & Tremblay has brokered the sale of a retail property located on Amherst Street in Nashua. An undisclosed buyer acquired the property for $1.2 million. Advanced Auto Parts occupies the property with more than four years remaining on its original 10-year lease term plus three five-year renewal options. Bob Horvath, Aaron Huntley and RJ Tuller of Horvath & Tremblay negotiated the transaction.
THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of YX Plaza, a 22,000-square-foot retail center located at 16103 W. York Road in The Woodlands. Nate Newman and Logan Kelly of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a partnership. Newman also procured and represented the buyer, a limited liability company. Both parties requested anonymity.
GLENVIEW, ILL. — The Missner Group has acquired a 45,000-square-foot flex industrial building in Glenview, about 20 miles northwest of Chicago. The purchase price was not disclosed. The single-story building, constructed in 1999, is located at 2323 Ravine Way in North Shore Corporate Park. The purchase is part of a sale-leaseback with the current owner, printing company DreamWorks Graphic Communications. DreamWorks acquired the building in 2014 and hired The Missner Group to complete building renovations at the time. The property features a clear height of 26 feet, four exterior truck docks, one drive-in door and 13,000 square feet of office space. Ed Adler of The Missner Group led the acquisition for the firm. Larry Much of NAI Hiffman represented both the buyer and the seller in the transaction.
GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. — Lamb Net Lease LLC has brokered the sale of Longmeadow Apartments in Grand Rapids for an undisclosed price. The 54-unit apartment property is located at 2600 Woodmeadow Drive SE. Longmeadow Apartments LLC sold the asset to a California-based private equity buyer. Mike Lamb of Lamb Net Lease brokered the transaction between both parties.
Patterson-Woods Commercial Facilitates $1.9M Sale of Office Building in Wilmington, Delaware

WILMINGTON, DEL. — Patterson-Woods Commercial Properties/CORFAC International has arranged the sale of an office building located at 913 Delaware Ave. in Wilmington. Washington Street Realty Co. sold the property to 913 Delaware Avenue, a Series of KD Financial LLC for $1.9 million. The single-story property features 8,100 square feet of office space. Bart Mackey of Patterson-Woods Commercial represented the seller in the deal.
ASHLAND, MASS. — SVN/Parsons Commercial Group/Boston has purchased a retail plaza located at 310 Pond St. in Ashland for an undisclosed price. The plaza features a 31,000-square-foot building and a 5,000-square-foot freestanding building situated at the front of the plaza. Additionally, SVN/Parsons secured a long-term deal with Habitat for Humanity – ReStore to occupy the property. Other tenants include Domino’s. Garrett Quinn of SVN/Parson provided in-house representation for the buyer, while Richard Diamond of The Diamond Group represented the seller, Saxon Partners, in the deal.
NAI Hanson Negotiates 1031 Exchange Sale of Two Flex Buildings in Saddle Brook, New Jersey

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — NAI James E. Hanson has brokered the sale of two industrial/flex buildings located in Saddle Brook in a 1031 exchange. The properties are a 10,200-square-foot building at 431 N. Midland Ave., which features 3,300 square feet of office space, 4,700 square feet of high-tech space and 2,200 square feet of warehouse space; and a 24,000-square-foot building at 435 N. Midland Ave., which features 4,000 square feet of office space, two tailgate loading docks and 14-foot ceilings. Anthony Cassano of NAI Hanson represented the undisclosed seller, while Kenneth Lundberg and Patrick Lennon, also of NAI Hanson, represented the undisclosed buyer in the transaction.
COLUMBIA CITY, MONTICELLO AND WABASH, IND. — Regency Properties has acquired three shopping centers in northern Indiana for an undisclosed price. The acquisition will add a combined 253,267 square feet to the company’s portfolio of properties. The 123,340-square-foot Columbia Square Shopping Center is located at 621 Countryside Drive in Columbia City. Anchored by Kroger, additional tenants at the property include Family Dollar, Goody’s, Rent-A-Center and Tires Plus. In Monticello, the 107,164-square-foot Monticello Marketplace is located at 900 N. Main St. Tenants include Kroger, Label Shopper, Pizza Hut, Ace Hardware and Anytime Fitness. Wabash Crossing East Shopping Center is a 22,763-square-foot center located at 1611 N. Cass St. in Wabash. Positioned by Highway 24, this center features Wabash County Hospital among other tenants.
