BOSTON — A consortium comprising New England Development, Eastern Real Estate, Rockpoint Group, Lubert-Adler and Highgate has acquired Taj Boston, a historic hotel located at 15 Arlington St. in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces sold the property for an undisclosed price. As part of the transaction, New England Development, Eastern Real Estate and Highgate will serve as asset managers, working closely with the Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces team, Rockpoint Group and Lubert-Adler. The 90-year-old hotel comprises 273 guestrooms, including 44 spacious suites featuring classic décor and wood-burning fireplaces. The hotel will retain the Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces brand through a long-term management services agreement. Sentinel Advisors Pte. Ltd. worked closely with Eastern Real Estate in advising the buyers on strategy for the transaction.

NEW YORK CITY — Rosewood Realty Group has arranged the sale of a six-story multifamily building located at 2147 E. 17th St in Brooklyn’s Sheepshead Bay neighborhood. 2147 LLC acquired the elevator-serviced building from 2147 BKLYN 12 Realty LLC for $18.3 million. Built in 1939, the 57,552-square-foot building features 60 apartments. Aaron Jungreis of Rosewood Realty represented both the seller and buyer in the deal.
CINNAMINSON, N.J. — Simon Holdings Inc. has acquired an industrial building located at 2303 Garry Road in Cinnaminson. Lynn Bradeen sold the 45,100-square-foot property for $2.1 million. The multi-tenant warehouse facility features 20- to 22-foot ceiling heights, 14 tailgate doors and five drive-in ramps. All American Fasteners and Dade Paper currently occupy the facility. Marc Isdaner of Colliers Southern New Jersey represented the seller, while Scott Mertz of NAI Mertz represented the buyer in the transaction.
COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA — Pine Tree LLC has purchased Metro Crossing Shopping Center in the Omaha suburb of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Dick’s Sporting Goods, TJ Maxx, Hobby Lobby, PetSmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, Dollar Tree and Ulta anchor the 299,578-square-foot shopping center. First developed in 2008 with additional construction phases occurring through 2015, the shopping center sits at the intersection of I-29 and Highway 275. George Good of CBRE brokered the acquisition and Bank of America provided financing. The name of the seller was undisclosed. Kimco Realty Corp. was the developer of the shopping center, according to the Omaha World Herald.
AURORA, ILL. — Transwestern has represented Centor North America Inc. in a 62,662-square-foot headquarters lease at 966 Corporate Blvd., a 238,604-square-foot multi-tenant warehouse in Aurora, Ill. Centor, a manufacturer of integrated doors for residential homes as well as folding doors, hardware and screen/blind systems, plans to relocate to the new facility from its current headquarters in Batavia on Oct. 1. Michael Marconi, Justin Lerner and Joe Karmin of Transwestern represented the tenant in the transaction. Completed in 2015, 966 Corporate Blvd. is LEED-certified and includes 32-foot ceilings, seven exterior docks, one drive-in door and 41 trailer stalls. Centor will use tenant improvement funds secured by Transwestern to complete the build-out of its space, which includes a state-of-the-art showroom and corporate offices.
WISCONSIN DELLS, WIS. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Amber’s Resort & Conference Center Wisconsin Dells, a 228-room resort hotel in the Wisconsin Dells, approximately 120 miles northwest of Milwaukee. An undisclosed limited liability company purchased the property for $4.6 million. The seller also was an unnamed limited liability company. Jon Ruzicka, Gordon Allred and Chris Gomes of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller. Jon Ruzicka, also with Marcus & Millichap, represented the buyer. Todd Lindblom assisted in the transaction.
EL PASO, TEXAS — CBRE has brokered a 20,000-square-foot expansion lease at Merchant Industrial for JICHASA, a logistics services firm. The expansion brings the multi-tenant industrial park in El Paso to 75 percent occupancy. Additionally, a retail chain has signed a short-term, 40,200-square-foot lease for temporary storage. Merchant Industrial is a 245,473-square-foot industrial park located at 7155, 7157, 7177 and 7189 Merchant Ave. The project is part of a larger industrial portfolio owned and managed by Phoenix-based ViaWest Group. Arturo De la Mora of CBRE’s industrial and logistics division represents the landlord and is marketing the remaining 60,600 square feet of vacancy.
ATHENS, GA. — LTC Properties Inc., a seniors housing and healthcare REIT, has acquired Village at Athens, a 70-unit assisted living and memory care community in Athens, for $14.3 million. The seller, Atlanta-based developer and operator Thrive Senior Living, finished construction of the community in May. Thrive will stay on to operate under the new ownership. This is the third seniors housing partnership between LTC and Thrive, and the companies expect to open two more developments by year’s end. Village at Athens features 50 assisted living units and 20 memory care units. Home of the University of Georgia, Athens is located approximately 70 miles east of Atlanta.
LOS ANGELES — Covington Capital Management has renewed its lease for 17,122 square feet of office space in downtown Los Angeles. The space is located at 601 S. Figueroa St., within the Figueroa at Wilshire building. The property was built in 1990. The renewal was for 10 years. Jonathan Larsen, Eric Moore and Chandler Larsen of Avison Young represented the wealth management firm. The landlord, Brookfield Office Properties, was represented in-house by John Barganski and Marin Turney.
TULSA, OKLA. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Airport Inn & Suites, a 100-room hotel located in Tulsa. Chris Gomes, Allan Miller and Skyler Cooper of Marcus & Millichap marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. Gordon Allred and Matt Monahan of Marcus & Millichap represented the buyer, a private investor from California. Airport Inn & Suites is located at 35 N. Sheridan Road, just off I-244. Constructed in 1974, the two-story, exterior corridor hotel was originally built as a La Quinta Inn and at the time of listing was independently operated. Amenities at the hotel include an outdoor swimming pool, business center and complimentary Wi-Fi.
