BELLEVILLE, MICH. — Gerdom Realty & Investment has brokered the sale of Meridian Medical Plaza in Belleville, 29 miles southwest of Detroit. The sales price was not disclosed. The 12,000-square-foot medical facility is 100 percent leased to multiple tenants. The buyer, a local private investor, also acquired additional land for a second phase of development. Larry Siedell and Tjader Gerdom represented both parties in the transaction.

DALLAS — Lee & Associated has arranged the sale of a 34,101-square-foot auto dealership space located at 13615 N. Central Expressway in Dallas. Nathan Denton of Lee & Associates represented the buyer, Sonic Development, a division of automotive retailer Sonic Automotive. Ryan Johnson of SRS Realty represented the seller, Algonquin Realty LP. Sonic Automotive is a Fortune 500 company that also offers vehicle maintenance, collision repair, insurance and financing services.

NEW YORK CITY — The Kalikow Group and Steelpoint Property Group have completed the sale of a mixed-use property located at 517 Second Ave. in the Kips Bay neighborhood of Manhattan. An undisclosed buyer acquired the property for $7.4 million. The four-story building features a ground-level restaurant and three floor-through, three-bedroom apartments. The partnership originally purchased the property in 2014 for $5 million and implemented a three-year renovation project.

JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. — Bent Tree Realty has completed the disposition of Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital Orthopedics Building in Johnson City. A privately held healthcare REIT purchased the 23,383-square-foot facility for an undisclosed price. The building is 96 percent occupied by Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital, a member of Ascension Health. Lisa Menin of Jacobson Properties and Leo Jones of Cushman & Wakefield/Pyramid Brokerage Company represented the seller in the transaction.

BANGOR, MAINE — Cardente Real Estate has arranged the sale of a mixed-use property and adjacent parking garage located at 105 Main St. in Bangor. Brick & Mortar Holding Group sold the asset to an undisclosed buyer for $1.9 million. The property features a total of 25 retail and apartment units. Mike Cobb of Cardente Real Estate represented the seller and buyer in the deal.

MINNEAPOLIS — IRET (NYSE: IRET) has entered into an agreement to sell its medical office portfolio for $417.5 million. The buyer was not disclosed. The properties, totaling approximately 1.3 million square feet, include the company’s entire healthcare portfolio, which consists of 28 healthcare properties and one other commercial property occupied by a healthcare tenant. The transaction, expected to close by the end of January, is one of several key deals nearing the completion of IRET’s strategic transformation, according to the company. IRET also sold 22 other non-core properties for an aggregate sale price of $98.8 million since July. This includes the company’s final two seniors housing properties, marking IRET’s full exit from that segment, as well as three industrial assets and one healthcare asset located in the Twin Cities.

BOURBONNAIS, ILL. — Nucor Corp. (NYSE: NUE) has acquired a 160-acre industrial land parcel in Bourbonnais, about 55 miles south of Chicago. The site is located at the corner of I-57 and 5000 North Road. Nucor’s planned expansion will allow the steel manufacturer to add a full-range merchant bar quality (MBQ) mill to its current bar steel mill operation. MBQ refers to a lower quality type of carbon steel. The $180 million project will take approximately two years to complete. DAVENPORT, IOWA — CBRE Hotels has brokered the sale of the Radisson Quad City Plaza hotel in Davenport, the largest of the Quad Cities, for an undisclosed price. The 221-room hotel is located at 111 East 2nd St. along the Mississippi River. Amenities include an indoor pool, fitness center and on-site restaurant. Nate Sahn of CBRE represented the undisclosed seller. Hawkeye Hotels Inc. purchased the property with plans to complete a comprehensive renovation.

ATLANTA — Preferred Apartment Communities Inc. (PAC) has purchased Roswell Wieuca Shopping Center, a 74,370-square-foot retail center located at the corner of Roswell and Wieuca roads in Atlanta’s Buckhead district. PAC acquired the asset for an undisclosed price through its wholly owned subsidiary, New Market Properties LLC. Marcus & Millichap marketed the property on behalf of the seller, Brand Properties. A 22,921-square-foot Fresh Market grocery store anchors the center, which was fully leased at the time of sale to tenants including Willy’s, Ace Hardware, Chicken Salad Chick, Amazing Lash Studio, Abbadabba’s, Cheeseburger Bobby’s, Goldberg’s Bagel Co. & Deli and Sugarcoat Nail & Beauty Bar.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA. — The Henderson Group has purchased five office buildings located in Newtown Square from Brandywine REIT for $42 million. The five properties are located on Campus Boulevard at the intersection of West Chester Pike and Route 252. All but one of the buildings, 17 Campus Blvd., are currently occupied. The buyer is actively pursuing new tenants for the two-story, 50,000-square-foot office building.
