BUFFALO GROVE, ILL. — Avison Young has arranged a 141,000-square-foot lease for a business building in Buffalo Grove, a Chicago suburb. Plexus Corp. has signed a long-term lease renewal for the property located at 2400 Millbrook Drive. Plexus occupies the entire building. The building is located in the Millbrook Business Center, a 70-acre development. Amenities of the Millbrook Business Center include on-site management, ponds, a walking and jogging path and volleyball courts. NEW HAVEN, CONN. — Tenant Ducci Electrical Contractors and landlord 105 Hamilton LLC have signed a lease for 10,640 square feet of space at 105 Hamilton Street (Tile America Building) in New Haven. The space will accommodate Ducci’s warehousing and storage requirements for several new large multi-year projects in and around New Haven. The space also includes use of a secured outside yard for the storage of large machinery & equipment. Richard Guralnick of O,R&L Commercial was the sole broker in the transaction and represented both the landlord and tenant.
BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — SR International Rock, a wholesale marble and granite distributor, has leased 14,640 square feet at 7E Easy Street in Bridgewater, a 31,622-square-foot industrial facility. James Hodgkins, Jordan Metz, and Kevin Ranski of Bussel Realty Corp. represented the tenant in the transaction. 7E Easy Street is located near I -287 and Route 22. The property offers 14-foot ceiling heights, two drive-ins, eight loading docks, 1,200 amps of electric power, and 25 parking spaces.
HOUSTON — Keener Investments has acquired a 62-unit multifamily property in an off-market purchase. The property will be rebranded as The Block at Montrose and will be managed by Allied Orion Group. The property is located in the Montrose neighborhood, just west of Houston’s central business district and just north of the Texas Medical Center and Museum District.
IRVING, TEXAS — Henry S. Miller’s Bill Bledsoe has arranged the sale of a single-tenant office building in Irving, The 3,900-square-foot building sits on .81 acres and is located at 727 W. Airport Freeway. The site was purchased by a local business for expansion and renovations are underway. Bledsoe represented the seller, Hargrove Interests LLC, while Luis Pina of Accent Commercial represented the unnamed buyer.
RESTON, VA. — Comstock Partners LLC has signed a roughly 10,000-square-foot lease with Farmers Restaurant Group (FRG) for restaurant space at Reston Station, a transit-oriented, mixed-use development located in the Washington, D.C., suburb of Reston. FRG’s Founding Farmers, an American eatery serving farm-to-table food, plans to open its new restaurant at Reston Station in late 2016. Currently under construction, Reston Station will serve as the gateway to the Wiehle Reston-East Metro Station and the terminus of Phase I of Metro’s new Silver Line.
DENVER — American Tire Distributors (ATD) has leased a 127,000-square-foot building at Crossroads Commerce Park in Denver. The park is located at the southwest corner of 55th Avenue and Washington Street in Unincorporated Adams County. ATD is the first full-building tenant at Crossroads. The company is one of the largest independent suppliers of replacement tires in North America. Crossroads Commerce Park is a modern, master-planned development of nearly 1 million square feet of Class A industrial space in multiple buildings. Josh Allred of Jackson Cooksey represented ATD. IRWINDALE, CALIF. — Rexford Industrial Realty has purchased a 64,296-square-foot industrial facility in Irwindale for $8.1 million. The facility is located at 16321-16327 Arrow Highway. It is fully leased to one tenant that has used the property as its corporate headquarters, production and distribution facility for several decades.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Apple Hospitality REIT has closed on the acquisitions of the 102-room Courtyard by Marriott Syracuse Downtown at Armory Square and the 78-room Residence Inn by Marriott Syracuse Downtown at Armory Square for a combined purchase price of $42 million. The Courtyard and Residence Inn hotels, both located at 300 West Fayette Street within the historic Armory Square area of Downtown Syracuse, are approximately two miles from Syracuse University as well as the State University of New York Upstate Medical University and Upstate University Health System. Both hotels opened in 2013.
HAZELWOOD, MO. — In separate transactions, Savoy Properties has arranged one property sale and one lease in Hazelwood, a northwestern suburb of St. Louis. In the first transaction, Bommarito Ford Realty LLC purchased a 21,016-square-foot retail building from Robert Chandler and Marilyn Chandler. The property is located at 6311 N. Lindbergh Blvd. in Hazelwood. John McDonald of Savoy represented the buyer, Bommarito Ford Realty. In the second transaction, Kingsbrook Properties LLC has leased 12,712 square feet of office space to Center for Life Solutions. The property is located at 9144 Pershall Road in Hazelwood.
