NEW YORK CITY — Abro Management has acquired Hudson East, a multifamily rental building located at 223-237 East Sixth St. in New York City’s East Village. The 92,000-square-foot property sold for $60 million. Originally built in 1997, the six-story property features 86 rental units, with rents ranging from $4,950 to $6,300 per month. Aaron Jungreis and Devin Cohen of Rosewood Realty Group represented the buyer in the transaction. The name of the seller was not released.

NEW YORK CITY — TOWN Residential has arranged the purchase of a retail/office building located at 734 Broadway in New York City’s NoHo district. 734 Broadway Acquisitions LLC purchased the 19,000-square-foot property for an undisclosed price. The five-story property features 6,500 square feet of usable retail space and four floors of office space totaling 12,500 square feet. The buyer plans to renovate the property, which was vacant at the time of acquisition. Jonathan Butwin and Scott Dweck of TOWN Residential represented the buyer in the transaction. The name of the seller was not released.

LA PORTE, TEXAS — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Village by the Bay, a 79-unit apartment property located in La Porte. Juan Cuevas of Marcus & Millichap’s Houston office marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. John Susank of Marcus & Millichap’s Newport Beach, Calif., office secured the exchange buyer, a limited liability company. Village by the Bay is located at 1026 S. 6th St. in La Porte.

HOUSTON — First Industrial Realty Trust has arranged two long-term leases totaling 273,018 square feet at its 351,672-square-foot First Northwest Commerce Center development in Houston. The leases bring the facility to 78 percent leased. A leading global supplier to the energy industry will use 194,364 square feet of the facility for distribution and assemblage, and an international technology and manufacturing company will occupy a 78,654 square-foot space that will serve as a design, production and distribution center. Both leases will commence Sept. 1, 2015. Located in the Northwest submarket of Houston at 4800 W. Greens Road, First Northwest Commerce Center features 32-foot clear heights, a sprinkler system, truck courts and excess trailer storage, as well as access to major transportation systems via Beltway 8. Royal Pratt and Chad Parrish lead First Industrial’s development and leasing efforts for First Northwest Commerce Center.

DALLAS — Brennan Investment Group LLC has purchased and leased back to Arbor Metals an industrial property located at 811 Regal Row in Dallas.  Arbor is an international trader, processor and stocking metal service center for stainless steel and aluminum strip and coil. The building serves as the company’s headquarters and sole manufacturing facility. This acquisition increases Brennan’s Southwest regional portfolio to 21 buildings.

NEW YORK CITY — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the sale of a multifamily property located at 26 Fort Charles Place in New York City’s Marble Hill neighborhood. The 20-unit apartment property sold for $2.9 million. Peter Von Der Ahe, Scott Edelstein, Seth Glasser and Rafi Moskowitz of Marcus & Millichap’s Manhattan office represented the seller and buyer, both private investors, in the transaction.

ORLANDO, FLA. — CBRE has brokered the $29 million sale of Laguna Oaks, a 360-unit lakeside apartment community located at 3211 S. Semoran Blvd. in Orlando. Avesta Communities purchased the gated apartment property from Ram Realty Services. Built in 1973 and renovated in 1997 and 2013, the multifamily community in situated near the 64-acre Lake Frederica. Laguna Oaks’ amenity package includes an onsite boat ramp and boat slips, two pools, an outdoor kitchen, clubhouse, community room, fitness center and covered parking. Shelton Granade, Luke Wickham and Justin Basquill of CBRE represented the seller in the transaction.

MCDONOUGH, GA. — Lincoln Property Co. Southeast has arranged three leases totaling nearly 72,000 square feet at Westridge Logistics Center, a two-building industrial campus totaling 324,112 square feet. Westridge is located in the South Atlanta industrial submarket of McDonough. Denton Shamburger of Lincoln represented the landlord in all three transactions. The deals included Thom Sawyer Logistics Solutions signing for 26,286 square feet, Legacy Commissary Services signing for 15,172 square feet and an unnamed tenant signing for 30,343 square feet. Rusty Epperson of Wilson, Hull & Neal Real Estate represented Thom Sawyer Logistics Solutions, and Bob Robers of Transwestern represented Legacy Commissary Services in their lease transactions.
