NORTH AURORA, ILL. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the sale of Randall Road Self Storage, a 640-unit self-storage facility in North Aurora. The sales price was not disclosed. The facility, located at 1051 Kettle Ave., encompasses a total of 76,696 rentable square feet. Sean Delaney and Michael Mele of Marcus & Millichap marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. The team also secured the buyer, Merit Hill Capital.

DURHAM, N.C. — An affiliate of Greenville, N.C.-based Brodyco has purchased Lakewood Shopping Center in Durham for an undisclosed price. A 29,000-square-foot Food Lion and Dollar General anchor the 82,000-square-foot shopping center, which was built in the 1960s. The buyer is considering remerchandising the center’s tenant mix going forward. The 58-year-old shopping center has a rich history. The property was once an amusement park with roller coaster, dance pavilion and bowling, and more recently, home to Winn Dixie, W.T. Grant and Woolworth’s Department Stores.

BEVERLY HILLS, CALIF. — Lang & Lang Properties has completed the sale of a retail building, located at 457-459 N. Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. A joint venture led by Michael Shabani of Crown Equity, Hakim Holdings, GWP Real Estate and Mazal Enterprises, acquired the property for $96 million, or $8,240 per square foot. Brioni, an Italian menswear retailer, and Alexander McQueen, a British fashion house, occupy the 11,625-square-foot retail building. With 50 feet of frontage on Rodeo Drive, the property comprises 7,150 square feet of ground-floor space, approximately 600 square feet on the mezzanine level and 3,875 square feet on the basement level. Carine Mamann, Kazuko Morgan and Stephen Algermissen of Cushman & Wakefield represented the buyer in the transaction.

Located at 226 Causeway St., the property features a tenant roster anchored by the corporate headquarters of Oxfam America, the Boston Celtics and two divisions of TripAdvisor, as well as a regional office for Stantec. Street-level retail at the property includes Equal Exchange Café and Title Boxing Club. The complex is located near The Hub on Causeway, a 1.5 million-square-foot residential, retail and office addition to the TD Garden, a multi-purpose arena that serves as home to the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics. CAMBRIDGE, MASS. — The Stubblebine Company/CORFAC International has brokered the $79 million sale of a 192,459 mixed-use portfolio on 11.9 acres. The property is located in the Cambridge Quad, a life science and residential campus. The portfolio consists of three properties located at 127 Smith Place, 13 Mooney St. and 45-67 Mooney St. David and James Stubblebine of Stubblebine/CORFAC represented the buyer, Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, in the transaction. The seller was undisclosed. The Cambridge Quad is near Alewife Station, the anchor of the MBTA’s Red Line, which connects West Cambridge, Harvard Square, Kendall Square and the Seaport.

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WIS. — The Boulder Group has arranged the $5.2 million sale of a single-tenant property net leased to Pick ‘n Save in Wisconsin Rapids. The 46,608-square-foot property is located at 900 E. Riverview Expressway. Wisconsin Rapids is in the central part of Wisconsin.Pick ‘n Save recently expanded its lease for 10 years. The store is scheduled to undergo a $2 million interior remodeling in 2019. The property was originally constructed in 1980. Randy Blankstein and Jimmy Goodman of Boulder represented the seller, a Midwest-based real estate company. A West Coast-based real estate fund purchased the asset.

COSTA MESA, CALIF. — Invesco Real Estate has acquired The Hive, a three-building creative office campus in Costa Mesa. A joint venture between Goldman Sachs and Steelwave sold the asset for an undisclosed price. Situated on 14.2 acres at 3333, 3335 and 3337 S. Susan St., the 181,822-square-foot property features flexible and open floor plans, a coffee bar adjacent to an outdoor tenant lounge area, a fitness facility with showers and lockers, a conference center, and multiple open-air patios with community activities. At the time of sale, the property was 82 percent occupied by five tenants: Los Angeles Chargers, Lazy Dog Café, Coding Dojo, Agility Fuel Solutions and Steelwave. In addition to existing buildings, the site is entitled for 65,000 square feet of additional commercial development. The seller purchased the property in 2015 and invested approximately $22 million into transforming the development, which was built in 2003, into a creative Class A environment. Kevin Shannon, Paul Jones, Blake Bokosky, Ken White and Brunson Howard of Newmark Knight Frank represented the seller, while Invesco Real Estate was self-represented the in the deal.

JACKSONVILLE, FLA. — Savlan Capital has purchased Exchange South, a multi-tenant flex business property on Philips Highway in Jacksonville’s Southside. An undisclosed seller sold the property for $18.3 million, or $94 per square foot. Built from 1990 through 1996, the 194,400-square-foot building features 16 dock-high doors and 35 drive-in doors. At the time of acquisition, the property was 75 percent leased to 25 tenants, including Omnicare, Univar, ALS Group, Orion Energy Systems, Schindler Elevators, Konica Minolta, Lab Corp. and LendingTree. Savlan Capital plans to invest $2 million in upgrades to the property to improve the interiors of vacant units, exterior repainting and upgraded landscaping and curb appeal. Keith Goldfaden and Christian Harden of NAI Hallmark were retained to lead the leasing initiative for the property.

COLUMBUS, TEXAS — Chicago-based Brennan Investment Group LLC has acquired a nine-building manufacturing campus situated on 15 acres at 200 Texas Ave. in Columbus, about 75 miles west of Houston. The properties were 100 percent leased to KW International, which produces oil and gas production and measurement equipment, at the time of sale. Brennan will lease back the space to the tenant, which houses its headquarters at the property.

TUCSON, ARIZ. — DSW Commercial Real Estate, along with Iridius Capital and JCR Capital, has purchased Campbell Plaza, a shopping center located along Campbell Avenue in Tucson. The Krausz Cos. sold the property for $33 million. Albertson’s and Ross Dress for Less are tenants at the 190,022-square-foot, core-plus asset. Mark Lucescu of Lucescu Realty represented the seller, while James Hardman of DSW Commercial Real Estate represented the buyer. Tim Storey of Newmark Realty Capital secured equity and debt financing for the acquisition.
