GLENDALE, ARIZ. — Kasten Long Commercial Group has arranged the sale of a warehouse asset, located at the northwest corner of 51st Avenue and Camelback Road in Glendale. CBRE Global Investors acquired the property for $17.5 million from an undisclosed seller. Built in 1987, the property features 105,906 square feet of cold-storage space. Sprouts Farmers Market is a tenant at the property. Walter Unger of Kasten Long Commercial brokered the deal.

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO. — Block & Co. Inc. Realtors has arranged the sale of the 33,340-square-foot Raintree Village shopping center in Lee’s Summit for an undisclosed price. The property sits on eight acres at 817-899 SW Lemans Lane. Phil Peck of Block & Co. represented the seller, Compton Holdings LLC. The buyer was not disclosed. Block & Co. will continue to handle leasing for the center. Six spaces are currently available for lease, ranging from 1,139 to 3,626 square feet. Some of the tenants include Love Coffee, Envy Salon, Papa John’s, Snap Fitness and La Fuente Mexican restaurant.

BOSTON — A joint venture between urban developer Accordia Partners and a private equity fund managed by Ares Management Corp. has acquired 2 Morrissey Boulevard, a 425,000-square-foot office complex in Boston. Located in the city’s Dorchester neighborhood, the five-building property was fully leased at the time of sale to Santander Bank. The complex is also situated across the street from the 20-acre site of the former Bayside Expo Center, which the joint venture is redeveloping. Newmark Knight Frank represented the seller, an affiliate of Beacon Capital Partners, in the transaction, and arranged acquisition financing for the buyer.

SAVANNAH AND GARDEN CITY, GA. — Carter Multifamily has purchased a six-property, 810-unit apartment portfolio in metro Savannah totaling $84.3 million. The assets include Alhambra (which will be rebranded as Ascend Midtown), Carriage House, Ridgewood, Azure Cove, Kessler Point and The Arbors. Alhambra, Carriage House and Ridgewood are all located in Savannah and feature one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Azure Cove, Kessler Point and The Arbors are situated adjacent to each other in the northeast Savannah suburb of Garden City. Tampa-based Carter Multifamily plans to reposition the properties and make renovations, including updates to home interiors, the pool, clubhouse and recreational areas. The sellers were not disclosed.

PANAMA CITY, FLA. — Hunter Hotel Advisors has arranged the sale of Hampton Inn & Suites Panama City Beach Beachfront. The 182-room, oceanfront hotel features a two-story atrium lobby with a bar, meeting rooms, a business center, 24-hour market, fitness center and a swimming pool with a hot tub. Innisfree Hotels and Stonehill co-developed the hotel, which opened in 2017. Atlanta-based Hunter Hotel Advisors marketed the hotel on behalf of the sellers. Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Innisfree will continue to manage the hotel and also retained an ownership stake in partnership with the new owners, Wesley and Donna Spruill. The new ownership group will recapitalize the hotel.

CARLSBAD, CALIF. — San Diego-based Equinvests Capital has purchased Camino West Corporate Park, an office property in Carlsbad. Swift Real Estate Services sold the asset for $8.8 million. Situated on 4.4 acres at 2035 Corte del Nogal, Camino West Corporate Park features 54,830 square feet of office space. At the time of sale, the two-story, multi-tenant property was 72 percent leased. The asset also recently underwent a $2.6 million remodel, including new lobbies, common area, corridors, landscaping, lighting, outdoor lounge areas and restrooms. The office park features an on-site deli, showers and lockers. Louay Alsadek, Matt Pourcho, Hunter Rowe, Anthony DeLorenzo and Gary Stache of CBRE represented the seller in the transaction.

The community consists of 16 units in four buildings. Scott Fetter and Joe Hornstein of Pinnacle brokered the transaction. The buyer acquired the property through a 1031 exchange. The seller was not disclosed.

SHEBOYGAN, WIS. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $8.9 million sale of Champion Self-Storage, a 999-unit self-storage portfolio in Sheboygan. The portfolio includes five facilities, three of which are located on Playbird Road. The unit mix is comprised of 65 climate-controlled units, 734 non-climate controlled units, 18 storage containers, six warehouse spaces and 176 parking spaces for boats and recreational vehicles. The portfolio accounts for nearly half of the available self-storage space in Sheboygan, according to Marcus & Millichap. Sean Delaney of Marcus & Millichap brokered the transaction. Buyer and seller information was not disclosed.

NILES, ILL. — SEDCO Capital, an asset management company headquartered in Saudi Arabia, has purchased a distribution facility occupied by FedEx Ground in the Niles submarket of Chicago. The purchase price was not disclosed. SEDCO used a separate account managed by ElmTree Funds LLC to acquire the property. The 306,448-square-foot facility is located at 5959 W. Howard St. Originally constructed in 2015 as a build-to-suit for FedEx Ground, the net-leased property features 101 dock doors. FedEx has approximately 11 years remaining on its lease.

ALAMEDA, CALIF. — Levin Johnston of Marcus & Millichap has brokered the sale of Buena Vista Apartments, a multifamily community located at 4330-450 Buena Vista Ave. in Alameda. A private, high-net-worth investor sold the property to an undisclosed buyer for $15.9 million. Adam Levin and Robert Johnston of Levin Johnston represented the seller in the transaction. Originally constructed in 1966 and renovated in 2018, the 52-unit property consists of two parcels and offers a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans. On-site amenities include laundry facilities, gated secure entrance, bike storage, barbecue and picnic areas, and storage for tenant use.
