ORO VALLEY, ARIZ. — Commercial Retail Advisors has arranged the acquisition of Safeway Vistoso Plaza, a retail property located in Oro Valley, a suburb approximately six miles north of Tucson. Brentwood Developments acquired the property from SB Vistoso Shopping Center LLC for $10 million. The acquisition includes 34,770 square feet of 100 percent occupied inline retail space at 12112, 12142 and 12115 N. Rancho Vistoso Blvd. The property also features a 55,000-square-foot Safeway, which was not included in the sale. Craig Finfrock of Commercial Retail Advisors represented the buyer, while Robert Nolan of Oxford Realty Advisors represented the seller in the transaction.

DALLAS — A partnership between private equity fund manager Citymark Capital and Dallas-based CAF Capital Partners has purchased Spring Parc, a 304-unit apartment community in Dallas. The property is located on the city’s north side and offers amenities such as two pools, a Wi-Fi café and a dog park. The new ownership, which also recently acquired a 323-unit apartment community in nearby Lewisville, will upgrade the property’s common areas and unit interiors.
ST. CHARLES, MD. — FCP has sold two multifamily properties in St. Charles, roughly 30 miles south of Washington, D.C., for $56 million. Preservation Partners acquired the assets, which include the 136-unit Headen House and the 204-unit Huntington. The communities are part of a larger portfolio that FCP acquired in 2009. Over the past eight years, FCP repositioned and sold portions of the portfolio. All of the units at Headen House and Huntington are affordable under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Section 8 program.
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — Norvell Real Estate Group LLC has arranged the $16.9 million sale of Ashley Center, a 70,000-square-foot office building located at 4401 Belle Oaks Drive in North Charleston. Frank Norvell of Norvell Real Estate arranged the transaction on behalf of the seller, RCF Ashley Center LLC. Norvell also renewed leases with Ingevity South Carolina LLC, which occupies 20,758 square feet, and Aerotek Inc., which occupies 8,834 square feet. Chris Fraser of Avison Young represented the buyer.
PORT CHARLOTTE, FLA. — DSH Hotel Advisors has arranged the $7 million sale of a Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Port Charlotte. Dennis Hopper of DSH Hotel Advisors represented both the seller, Interdevco, and the buyer, Maingate East Development, in the transaction. The Microtel Inn & Suites features a business center, fitness center, complimentary breakfast, free Wi-Fi, outdoor pool and meeting rooms. The hotel is located near the Charlotte County Historical Center, Bayshore Park Fishing Pier and the Cultural Center of Charlotte County.
WAUSAU, WIS. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $1.9 million sale of The Plaza hotel in Wausau. The 225-room hotel is located at 201 N. 17th Ave. The five-story property includes 23,000 square feet of banquet and conference space as well as a restaurant and lounge. Allan Miller, Chris Gomes, Ebrahim Valliani and Michael Klar of Marcus & Millichap marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. The team also procured the buyer, a partnership. Wausau is located in central Wisconsin.
WESTFORD, MASS. — Horvath & Tremblay has negotiated the $5.7 million sale of a retail building in Westford. The 14,820-square foot property is fully occupied by Walgreens pharmacy. Located at 145 Littleton Road, the building is approximately 25 miles northwest of Boston. Bob Horvath and Todd Tremblay represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. The buyer was also undisclosed. Walgreens has 13 years remaining on the initial lease term with 10, five-year renewal options. Nearby retailers include Whole Foods, CVS, Rite Aid, Marshalls, Home Goods, Petco, Panera Bread, Chipotle and Five Guys.
MARGATE, FLA. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $12.7 million sale of Life Storage, a 64,629-square-foot self-storage facility located at 5185 Coconut Creek Parkway in Margate, a city in Broward County. Brett Hatcher and Gabriel Coe of Marcus & Millichap arranged the transaction on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer. Both parties were undisclosed limited liability companies.
LOGANVILLE, GA. — Bull Realty has brokered the $7.3 million sale of Piedmont Medical Health Center, a 15,000-square-foot medical office building in Loganville, located roughly 35 miles east of Atlanta. Paul Zeman of Bull Realty arranged the transaction. Other terms of the deal were not disclosed. Atlanta-based Piedmont Healthcare operates a women’s healthcare clinic and a gastroenterology clinic at the facility, which also includes an endoscopy/surgery center.
RICHMOND, VA. — Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer has arranged the $6.2 million sale of two-property retail portfolio in Richmond. The first asset, Tower Plaza, totals 22,580 square feet and was 91 percent leased at the time of sale. The center is home to tenants such as El Paso Mexican Restaurant, Sherwin Williams and Organic Cleaners. The second property, Rockwood Plaza, was fully leased at the time of sale. The 38,954-square-foot retail center houses tenants such as Wolfgang’s Gym, Ballroom Dance Center and Antioch Christian Church. Catharine Spangler, Calvin Griffith and Richard Thalhimer of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer represented the seller in the transaction. Other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
