ROME, GA. — Crossman & Co. has brokered the $21 million sale of Charles Hight Square, a Publix-anchored shopping center located in Rome. The property’s tenant roster includes Wells Fargo, AT&T, Jimmy John’s and Mattress Firm. John Zielinski, Mark Thompson and Leah Harrington of Crossman & Co. represented the seller in the transaction.

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. — JLL Capital Markets team has brokered the sale of Blackstone Science Square, a Class A office/lab building in Cambridge. Centremark Properties sold the four-story, 78,672-square-foot property to Brickman Associates for $31.5 million. Located at 237 Putnam Ave. and 19-23 Blackstone St., the property has undergone $8.1 million of capital improvements over the past five years. The improvements include significant infrastructure upgrades to accommodate life science lab tenants and new lobby and common area finishes. Additionally, there is a 94-space parking lot adjacent to the building. Current tenants include Good Start Genetics Inc., Ambri, Genewiz and Cireca Thernostics. Frank Petz and Jessica Hughes of JLL led the JLL Investments Sales team on the transaction.
COSTA MESA, CALIF. – Snell & Wilmer law firm has renewed its lease for 53,000 square feet at Plaza Tower in Costa Mesa. The Class A property is located at 600 Anton Blvd. It sits adjacent to South Coast Plaza and the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Snell & Wilmer was represented by CBRE’s Kevin Bender and Steve Bay. The landlord was represented by Rick Kaplan, Robert Lambert and Matt Moore of Cushman & Wakefield.
PHOENIX – Gateway Office Center, a 31,557-square-foot office complex in Phoenix, has sold to Garnett Capital Corporate for $3 million. The center is located at 4130 E. Van Buren Ave., within the Phoenix Gateway Center Office Park. It was built in 1987. The property is fully leased. The seller, Brentwood Gateway Center, was represented by Eric Wichterman, Mike Coover and Gordon Raguse of Cassidy Turley.
DENVER – The Bascom Group acquired the 112-unit Skyline View apartment community in the Denver submarket of Aurora for $8.4 million. The community is located at 456 South Ironton Street. It was built in 1972 and renovated in 2007. Debt financing was arranged by Gary Mozer and Katie Rodd of George Smith Partners. It was provided by One West Bank.
SPARKS, NEV. – Los Altos Crossing, a 35,123-square-foot retail center in Sparks, has sold to BH Properties for $4.7 million. The center is located at Sparks Boulevard and Los Altos Parkway. The transaction also includes six pads totaling 217,974 square feet that are primed for development. The center is currently 47 percent occupied. Notable tenants include Goodwill, Dotty’s Casino, Las Trojes Mexican Restaurant and Dad’s Convenience Store.
NEWBURY PARK, CALIF. – An 11,508-square-foot industrial facility in Newbury Park has sold to People Creating Success for $2.1 million. The facility is located at 2585-2587 Teller Road, just northwest of Thousand Oaks. People Creating Success is an organization that provides services to the developmentally disabled. The organization was represented by Keith Mathias of KAM Commercial. The seller, a family trust, was represented by Mike Tingus and Cheri Blessing of Lee & Associates-LA North/Ventura.
NEW PORT RICHEY, FLA. — Plaza Advisors has brokered the sale of Pasco Square Shopping Center, a 135,421-square-foot retail asset located at the intersection of State Road 54 and Rowan Road in New Port Richey. The property was 90 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants such as Beall’s Outlet, Dollar General Market, Badcock Home Furnishings, Dollar Tree, GNC, Radio Shack, The UPS Store and Subway. Jim Michalak, Mike Cvetetic and Nick Castellano of Plaza Advisors represented the seller, Phillips Edison & Co., in the transaction. The buyer, Isram Acquisition Corp., purchased the asset for $7.4 million. No other brokers were involved in the transaction.
FORT WORTH — CBRE has brokered the sale of Hulen Pointe Shopping Center in Fort Worth. Bo Avery of TriMarsh Properties purchased the retail center from Austin-based Wes Walters Realty Inc. Hulen Pointe is comprised of four buildings totaling 174,783 square feet and is 48 percent occupied by a combination of national, regional and local tenants. Anchor tenants include Dollar Tree, Dickey’s BBQ, State Farm Insurance and Great Clips.
PLYMOUTH, MASS. — KeyPoint Partners has brokered the sale of West Plymouth Square, a shopping center located at the intersection of Route 44 and Route 80 in Plymouth. The asset sold for $7 million. Ocean State Job Lot, Planet Fitness, Dollar Tree, Papa Gino’s, Eastern Bank and Plymouth Liquors occupy the 127,847-square-foot shopping center. Jonathan Aron of KeyPoint Partners represented the seller, while Michael Scanio of Cambridge Capital Advisors procured the buyer.
