TUSCALOOSA, ALA. — Walker & Dunlop has closed on $28 million in financing for the second phase of the 669-bed The Retreat at Lake Tamaha, a student housing community located in Tuscaloosa. The 8-year loan has a 30-year amortization schedule. The first phase of the property was financed approximately 2 years ago with a 10-year term and the new loan will be coterminous with the loan on the first phase. Tim Bradley of TSB Capital Advisors originated the loan on behalf of the borrower, Landmark Properties, and Will Baker of Walker & Dunlop's Bethesda, Md., office led the Walker & Dunlop team.

KISSIMMEE, FLA. — Los Angeles-based Cohen & Associates has purchased the 152-unit Tierra Vista Apartment Homes, located at 8700 Tierra Vista Cir. in Kissimmee, from Tierra Vista I LP. for $7.7 million. Amenities include a clubhouse, a swimming pool, a fitness center and a playground. Armand Tiberio, Dmitry Gourkine and Timothy Flint of Marcus & Millichap's Seattle office represented both parties in the transaction. Shlomi Ronen of Los Angeles-based Dekel Capital arranged financing for the property.

BALTIMORE — Baltimore-based Bon Secours — Liberty Medical Center has sold a 117,000-square-foot, four-building medical campus, located at 2600 Liberty Heights Ave. in Baltimore, to the State of Maryland for $6.8 million. The property will be used for Baltimore County Community College. Gary Hooper of Cushman & Wakefield/Thalhimer's Richmond, Va., office represented the seller in the transaction.

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — Englewood, Colo.-based Triton Real Estate Holdings has acquired a 75,000-square-foot warehouse, located at 4100 Carolina Commerce Pkwy. in North Charleston, from KST Holdings for $3.5 million. Milton Thomas of Charleston-based Anchor Commercial/CORFAC International represented the seller in the transaction. Woody Kapp from Daniel Island, S.C.-based Meyer Kapp & Associates represented the buyer.

HENDERSONVILLE, TENN. — Greenville, S.C.-based RealtyLink has sold a 10,000-square-foot ULTA, located at 1032 Glenbrook Way in Hendersonville, to a Northeast-based private institutional investor for $2.77 million. RealtyLink developed the building and was self-represented by Tyson Glasser. Rich Cohen of Richco Realty represented the buyer.

RICHMOND, VA. — Calkain Cos. has brokered the $1.85 million sale of a 2,000-square-foot retail property, located in Richmond. The property is currently leased to KFC on a long-term basis. Rick Fernandez of Calkain Cos.' Reston, Va., office represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. David Sobelman of Calkain's Tampa, Fla., office represented the buyer, a private investor, in a 1031 tax deffered exchange.
