RALEIGH, N.C. — Choate Construction has completed a 134,152-square-foot Class A office building for the headquarters of Genworth Financial’s mortgage business. The property is located on 4.93 acres at 8325 Six Forks Rd. in Raleigh. Ground was broken on the office, which was designed to LEED Gold standards, in August 2008 and construction finished ahead of schedule. Genworth will occupy the entire building.

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Commercial Defeasance has facilitated an $18.9 million defeasance for Wilkinson Real Estate Partners’ refinance of 564 apartment units. The company had originally taken out loans totaling $23 million on three multifamily properties in Greenville. Fannie Mae financed the new transaction.
ORLANDO, FLA. — Supertel Hospitality has sold the 120-room Masters Inn-International Drive in Orlando to Sun Vista Hotels for an undisclosed price. The buyer will renovate the Orlando hotel before converting it to a Best Western. David Mumford, Steve Kirby, Burton Brooks and David Holcombe of the Mumford Co. represented the seller.
VIRGINIA — Morgan Property Group of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has opened two Walgreens stores in Virginia. The first store is located at the intersection of Boulevard and Dupuy roads in Colonial Heights, and the Manassas store is located at the intersection of Sudley Road and Sudley Manor Drive. Both free-standing properties contain drive-thru windows.
BOYNTON BEACH, FLA. — Orlando, Fla.-based Keene Construction Co. has started work on Ram Realty Services’ 13,272-square-foot Valencia Commons office building in Boynton Beach. The two-story property is located at the intersection of Boynton Beach Boulevard and Hagen Ranch Road. Miami Lakes, Fla.-based Design Tech International provided architectural services. Delivery is expected in January.
ATLANTA — GFI Capital Resources Group has purchased the 288-unit Clairmont apartment complex from an undisclosed party for $17 million. Located in Atlanta, the property spans 11 acres and is 94 percent occupied. Apartment amenities include two pools, a fitness center and a business center. The buyer plans to renovate the apartment’s exterior.
LAKE MARY, FLA. — Greenwood Properties has acquired a 58,910-square-foot industrial property from Roosevelt and Zsuzsa Rastegar for $3.41 million. The property is located at 650 Technology Park in Lake Mary. WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Virginia-based developer Johnson Winston has sold a 7,000-square-foot retail building to California-based Margate Plaza for $3 million as part of a 1031 exchange. The building, spread across 1.07 acres in Winston-Salem, houses the tenants Verizon Wireless and Krispy Kreme. GP Real Estate’s Fred Galison represented the buyer, and Johnson Winston was represented by Mac McCall of Marcus & Millichap’s Atlanta office.
JACKSONVILLE BEACH, FLA. — Springfield, Mass.-based O’Reilly Auto Parts has purchased a former Pinch A Penny store from 370 S. Third St. LLC for $1.1 million. The property is located at 370 S. Third St. in Jacksonville Beach. Colin Nicholson of Jacksonville, Fla.-based Coldwell Banker Commercial Benchmark brokered the sale.
JACKSONVILLE, FLA. — Jacksonville JTB Hotel has received $5.8 million in financing for a 137-room Marriott Courtyard in Jacksonville. The 4-year loan comes with a 25-year amortization schedule. FirstAtlantic Bank provided the mortgage, and Joel Coykendall of NorthMarq Capital’s Jacksonville office arranged the loan.
