CLEARWATER, FLA. — West Bay Drive LLC has sold the 38,569-square-foot Belleair Bazaar shopping center to Sunrise Plaza Holdings for $6.45 million. The property, located on West Bay Drive in Clearwater, is 82.3 percent occupied by Bonefish Grill, Cold Stone Creamery and Westshore Pizza. Jim Michalak, Anthony Blanco and Jess Wirts of Tampa, Fla.-based Plaza Advisors represented the seller.

ARAB, ALA. — Indianapolis-based Riser Retail Group has brokered a private party’s sale of the 72,980-square-foot Arab Center to a private investor for $2.95 million. The property is located on N. Brindlee Mountain Parkway in Arab. The three-tenant strip center is fully occupied by Marvin’s, Dollar Tree and Tractor Supply Co.
MCCORMICK, S.C. — Gold Rush Investment Group has sold the 40,000-square-foot Gold Rush Shopping Center to an undisclosed buyer for $1.48 million. The center, located at 710 S. Mine St. in McCormick, is anchored by a 29,000-square-foot Food Lion. Mike Early of Marcus & Millichap’s Williamsburg, Va., office and Matt Greenspon of the firm’s Charlotte, N.C., office brokered the sale.
MEMPHIS, TENN. — UT Medical Group has signed an 80,000-square-foot lease for space in an office building located at 1407 Union Ave. in Memphis. Further details of the 10-year lease were not released. Michael Donahoe and Anthony Lopes of Memphis-based Investec Realty Services represented the landlord. John Snyder of John Snyder Realty Services represented UT Medical Group.
ATLANTA — A multi-million dollar expansion to the Emory Conference Center Hotel, which will add 127 guest rooms and 6,000 square feet of meeting space to the existing property, is slated to deliver in May. The five-story addition to the Atlanta hotel has been constructed to Silver LEED specifications. Features in the new building include a six-lane bowling alley, a ballroom and a seminar room. When completed, the Emory hotel will encompass 325 rooms, six suites and 32,000 square feet of meeting space.
CLERMONT, FLA. — Deerfield Beach, Fla.-based SIKON Construction Corp. is eyeing a May completion of a 110,000-square-foot BJ’s Wholesale Club in Clermont. The property is located at 2577 S. Highway 27. Syracuse, N.Y.-based Dalpos Architects designed the store.
JACKSONVILLE, FLA. — The Jamie Johnston Trust has sold a nine-unit, 10,000-square-foot shopping center to MGML for $1.1 million. The center is located at 6043 and 6055 St. Augustine Rd. in Jacksonville. The property, which has space for one tenant, has housed La Tienda Jewelry & Pawn and Hollis Barber Shop for more than 35 years. Henry Rogers of Coldwell Banker Commercial Benchmark’s Jacksonville office represented the seller, and the firm’s James Rose represented the buyer.
DORAVILLE, GA. — Reliable Tire Co. has leased an additional 56,000 square feet of warehouse space from Sealy Button Gwinnett. The property is located at 2351 Button Gwinnett Dr. in Doraville. John Crawford and Ray Dankberg of Grubb & Ellis’ Atlanta office represented the tenant.
CLEARWATER, FLA. — Clearwater-based general contractor The Murray Co. has broken ground on the second phase of Hallmark Development of Florida’s 7.4-acre Offices at Park Place. The Gold LEED-certified project is located at 83 Park Place Blvd. in Clearwater. Half of the building has already been leased. Collman and Karsky Architects provided design services; Gulf Coast Engineering has also been assigned to the project. Environmentally friendly features include energy-efficient fixtures, green-certified building materials and an efficient irrigation system.
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. — Fort Lauderdale-based Miller Construction Co. has begun an interior and exterior renovation of the 35,000-square-foot Imperial Point Shopping Center. Located at the intersection of Federal Highway and Cypress Creek Road in Fort Lauderdale, the center will receive new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Exterior upgrades include new paint and extending the existing covered walkways. The center, owned by A.M. Davis Mercantile Co., was formerly occupied by Publix. Bruegger’s Bagels recently signed a 2,000-square-foot lease for space in the property.
