STRASBURG, COLO. — Trevey Commercial Real Estate has arranged the sale of an office and retail property located at 1477 Main St. in Strasburg, a small town approximately 30 miles east of Denver. Maverick Holdings LLC sold the building to Strasburg Management Group for $1.3 million. Situated on 0.2 acres, the freestanding, owner-user building features 7,793 square feet of office and retail space. Heath Honbarrier and Nick Beach of Trevey Commercial Real Estate represented the seller, while Matt Trone of Cushman & Wakefield represented the buyer in the deal.

MISSOURI CITY, TEXAS — CoCo Bella Beauty Supply will open a 12,530-square-foot store at Fort Bend Town Center, a 144-acre retail development by NewQuest Properties in Missouri City, roughly 20 miles southwest of Houston. Bob Conwell and Andrew Alvis represented NewQuest on an internal basis in the lease negotiations. Joanna Temple Johnston of Temple Commercial Realty represented Coco Bella. The opening is slated for February.
WAUWATOSA, WIS. — Dollar Tree has signed a 10,500-square-foot retail lease at 12120 W. Burleigh St. in the Milwaukee suburb of Wauwatosa. Emily Smits and Mike Fitzgerald of Mid-America Real Estate represented the landlord, an entity doing business as CPG Wauwatosa LLC. The shopping center is named Burleigh Square.
PONTIAC, MICH. — LaundroLab has opened a 4,000-square-foot laundromat within Oakland Pointe Plaza in Pontiac, a northern suburb of Detroit. Founded by local franchisees Leslie and Water Czarnecki, the Pontiac LaundroLab features high-tech washers and dryers, 24-7 attendant service, a child playroom and vending machine. The facility accepts both coin payments and digital payments through a mobile app. The Pontiac facility is one of five planned franchise locations by the Czarneckis. DALLAS — Two new tenants have joined the roster at Alpha Plaza, a 76,229-square-foot retail center located in Dallas. Sherlock’s Escape Rooms and The Aussie Grind Provisions will occupy 4,800 and 2,177 square feet, respectively, with both operators slated to open before the end of the year. Melanie Hughes and Erik Blais of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services represented the landlord, an entity doing business as Kennington Alpha Plaza LLC, in the lease negotiations. The tenant representatives were not disclosed.
NORFOLK, VA. — Bonaventure has purchased Monticello Station Apartments, a 121-unit community located at 328 E. Freemason St. in downtown Norfolk, for $42 million. The Alexandria, Va.-based firm plans to rebrand the property as Attain Downtown East. The seller was not disclosed. In addition to apartments in one- to four-bedroom layouts, the property includes 33,000 square feet of retail space leased to tenants including Buffalo Wild Wings, 7-Eleven and Sushi King. Amenities include a swim spa, 24-hour fitness center, garden-style courtyards with gas grills and firepits and a conference room.
CrossMarc Services Acquires Grocery-Anchored Shopping Center in Crescent City, Florida

CRESCENT CITY, FLA. — CrossMarc Services LLC, a real estate investment and advisory services based in Central Florida, has purchased Crescent City Plaza, a grocery-anchored shopping center in Crescent City, about 50 miles northwest of Daytona Beach, Fla. The property is located on 7.6 acres at 915-925 N. Summit St. Jimmy and Leo Island Properties sold the 47,945-square-foot retail center for $2.7 million. Built in 1974 and remodeled in 2019, Crescent City Plaza’s tenant roster includes Save-A-Lot and Family Dollar. The property includes a large parcel for future outparcel development. CrossMarc Services will handle leasing and management functions for the retail center.
LOS ANGELES — Gaw Capital USA and DJM have completed the three-year, $100 million renovation and rebranding of Hollywood & Highland to open Ovation Hollywood, located footsteps from the TCL Chinese Theatre and Hollywood Walk of Fame. The re-imagined, 475,000-square-foot property now features a variety of restaurants, entertainment venues and retailers. Current tenants include Café de Leche, Tacos Neza, a Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner pop-up shop, The Win-Dow and BOPOMOFO, with more retailers and restaurants on the way. Additionally, Ovation Hollywood’s fourth floor has been converted for entertainment and offers comedy club Kookaburrra Lounge and a soon-to-be-announced entertainment concept new to Los Angeles. The makeover included the demolition of the controversial Babylonian-themed archway and oversized elephant statues, which made way for new public art space, an open courtyard and landscaping.
MANSFIELD, TEXAS — Five restaurants have signed new leases at The Shops at Broad, a retail center located in the southern Fort Worth suburb of Mansfield. Portillo’s, Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, BoomerJack’s Grill & Bar and Chuy’s are all scheduled to open late next year at the property. Sam Kartalis of Younger Partners and John Weber of Weber & Co. arranged the leases on behalf of the landlord, Trez Capital, which acquired the property earlier this year.
