EDINA, MINN. — Nerdery has signed a 65,000-square-foot office lease at 7700 France Ave. in Edina, just south of Minneapolis. Nerdery is a digital business consulting firm focused on product and service development. Jim Damiani, Ryan Bohrer, Andrew Commers and Maura Carland of Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) represented the tenant in the lease transaction. Bloomington, Minn.-based Frauenshuh owns the property. Nerdery is slated to relocate from Bloomington to its built-out space in Edina in September. Minneapolis-based Studio KKChong designed the new office, which features an internal staircase, reception area with coffee bar and a rooftop patio. Nerdery’s lease is the largest office lease year to date in the Minneapolis market, according to NKF.

Majestic-Commercenter-Aurora-CO

AURORA, COLO. — Subaru of America has signed a long-term lease with Majestic Realty Co. for a 550,000-square-foot build-to-suit facility at Majestic Commercenter in Aurora. Located at the intersection of Interstate 70 and Tower Road, the master-planned park encompasses 1,600 acres. Subaru will relocate from a smaller existing location and expand into the new regional office, parts distribution and technical training center for its retail service technicians. Groundbreaking is scheduled for late 2020, with completion of Subaru’s full buildout and occupancy in late 2021. Constructed by Commerce Construction, Building 16 will feature 36-foot clear heights, 70-foot speed bays, 115 dock doors and signage fronting I-70. In addition to the Subaru development, Majestic Realty is developing a 32-acre retail complex at the park’s entrance. The retail component will offer space for up to 15 tenants, including at least one hotel. Earlier this year, Amazon signed a long-term lease agreement to occupy Building 15, a 702,000-square-foot facility, and Shamrock Foods purchased land at the park resulting in a 1.3 million-square-foot complex now under construction. Upon completion of these projects, Majestic Commercenter will feature more than 9 million square feet, valued at approximately $500 million.

PITTSBURGH — Dick’s Sporting Goods will open three new stores in the Northeast region this month. The Pittsburgh-based retailer will debut two new stores in Massachusetts, a 45,000-square-foot location at Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis and a 48,000-square-foot location at Westgate Mall in the Boston suburb of Brockton. Simon Property Group and New England Development are the respective owners of those malls. A third, 65,000-square-foot store will open at Macerich’s Deptford Mall, located just outside Philadelphia in New Jersey.

HOUSTON — Cypressbrook Co. has negotiated a 25,368-square-foot industrial lease at 1819 Turning Basin Drive in east Houston. According to LoopNet Inc., the property was built in 1980 and totals 65,494 square feet. John Hornbuckle of Cypressbrook represented the tenant, EN Group Corp., in the lease negotiations. David Munson of Boyd Commercial represented the landlord, First Industrial Texas LP.

CHANNAHON, ILL. — Camso USA Inc., a subsidiary of Michelin, has signed a 252,208-square-foot industrial lease at 24601 S. Bradley St. in Channahon. The company is relocating from a warehouse in nearby Joliet and expects to move into the new facility in September following the completion of tenant improvements. Camso is one of North America’s largest manufacturers and distributors of rubber tires and tracks for off-road vehicles and construction equipment. David Liebman of Merit Partners Inc. represented the tenant in the lease transaction. Sean Henrick and Jason West of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Crow Holdings Industrial.

HAMPSTEAD, MD. — Stag Industrial has signed a book publisher to a 1 million-square-foot industrial lease at 630 Hanover Pike in Hampstead. The lease was effective Aug. 1 and will last for five-and-a-half years with three months of free rent and 3 percent annual rent escalations. The property is situated 30 miles north of downtown Baltimore. As of June 30, Boston-based Stag’s portfolio comprised 457 buildings in 38 states with approximately 91.8 million rentable square feet.

CHICAGO — Sloan, a manufacturer of commercial plumbing systems and touchless restroom solutions, has signed a 20,000-square-foot office lease at 333 N. Green in Chicago’s Fulton Market. Sloan will use the space for its first Chicago showroom. Owned by Sterling Bay, 333 N. Green is now 93 percent leased. Russ Cora and Gillian Keebler of Sterling Bay negotiated the lease transaction. Lidl-North-Brunswick-New-Jersey

NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. — German discount grocer Lidl has opened a 28,000-square-foot store at Brunswick Shopping Center, a 288,000-square-foot retail center located in North-Central New Jersey. Other tenants at the property include LA Fitness, Muscle Maker Grill, GNC, Dollar Tree, Sally Beauty, McDonald’s, Sherwin Williams and Community Dental. New Jersey-based Levin Management Corp. represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. The representative of the tenant was not disclosed. Lidl now operates 10 stores in New Jersey.

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — CBRE has negotiated two office leases totaling 6,200 square feet at 23 Vreeland Road in Florham Park, about 30 miles west of New York City. International export company Hockman-Lewis inked a 4,600-square-foot lease, while law firm Bakos & Kritzer committed to a 1,600-square-foot space. Jonathan Meisel, Dan Casey and Erin Wenzler of CBRE represented the landlord, Eastman Cos., in the lease negotiations. Dylan Tusinac and David DeMatteis of Cushman & Wakefield represented Hockman-Lewis, while Bakos & Kritzer was self-represented.

SAN ANTONIO — Solar energy company Freedom Forever Texas has signed a 16,364-square-foot industrial lease at 4940 Eisenhauer Road in San Antonio. John Grady of CBRE’s Phoenix office represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Josh Aguilar of CBRE’s San Antonio office represented the landlord, Prologis.
